Maybe for the first time here, share some of your favorite a cappella songs.

I love this version, as Suzanne acts out what’s happening in the song. I saw her in concert on the Solitude Standing tour.

The only time I can think of that a 16th century medieval chant sung in Latin ever made it to the UK top 40, Steeleye Span's 1972 take on Gaudete. It's a christmas song, btw.

Not sure how many of you folks are fans of Trailer Park Boys, but you don't have to be a fan to love Bubbles:

Many great versions of this one but I chose Kathy Mattea's live version here --

Not completely acapella, but pretty close, and quite excellent:

    Anything by the Dreadnoughts.

They have a ton of music with wonderful guitar playing and drums.

Into the North comes to mind which is alot of acapella... Sometimes accompanied by drums or accordian.

I'm not sure that this may be the mastered track with instruments just muted but it sure sounds pretty

The group was founded by folks from my alma mater, song written by Sean Altman and David Yazbek.

"All sounds provided by the voices and appendages of Rockapella"

Prefame, post-Brown. Gotta love the haircuts.

Later three of the original members formed the Groove Barbers. (They've been doing this song since the early 80s at Brown, where I saw them under the name the Hi Jinks.)

I swear I heard the Belgium soccer supporters singing Hey Baby Cobb/Cannel but I only know Ringo Starr's version) during a FIFA World Cup. But I cannot find traces on the internet.
    That was great.
