I know that's a popular internet opinion, but it amounts to an old wives' tale (that Pledge does damage to guitar finishes), John Suhr has using Pledge for decades. As have I.

I had a synthetic shave brush that I didn't care for, it's for the guitar's now! Keep another in the car too.

I actually use makeup brushes to clean my pedals, because they can get in-between the knobs

I use the Nomad tool and soft rags from my old cotton boxer shorts for cleaning and polishing.
    Microfiber cloths for post-playing wipedowns...

Billy Zoom says it's OK if it's Pledge from before 1985. Apparently the silicone in later Pledge is an issue if you need to do finish work. I'm OK with it if I'm not going to refinish a guitar. It worked wonders on a $50 Epi acoustic for me.
Use it at your own discretion.

Makeup brushes- I have some for actually adding dust. That is, I also do HO scale model railroading and use these for dry brushing of pigment powders for weathering and color tone changes.

Now why didn't I think of using them to remove dust??

Wonder if the wife will notice hers are gone?

Old school feather duster. Works well enough. I don't worry much about those hard to reach spots, they get cleaned up when I do a string change.

I have the Nomad set, too. It works fine but now you all have me thinking about trying a lens pen. Retractable brush on one end, and a microfiber disk on the other.

HC, It's not really fair to show us all those cases without letting us see what's in them! Got a family picture of all the girls without their cases?

I use microfiber towels or old cotton socks for general cleaning and dusting. Years ago, I found out that small paint brushes (2-3" wide) work well to get the dust from below the strings. The strings just go between the bristles, and the dust is gone. So a quick pass with a microfiber cloth and paintbrush whenever I see the dust (about once a month), as I rotate through the guitars, generally does the trick for me.
