On the Guitar Nerds podcast, a listener wrote in asking the crew, "What would be your dream first show to see post-COVID?"

Hopefully sometime next year, we'll be able to see live music again. Who would you most like to see first?

Mine would be the Roger McGuinn show we were supposed to have seen this past May but it's been postponed a year. It still might get delayed or cancelled again, depending on what's going on.

There are many I’d like to see, a friend fronts a great blues band based out of British Columbia, I’d like to see a Powder Blues in B.C. and catch up.

The show we were supposed to see right before. Twin Temple and Tiger Army.

I'll take the one with live music, please. ANYTHING.

But really... seeing The BSO or RHH again would be pretty awesome.

Oh hell yeah me too dude. I was supposed to see them in Santa Cruz back in March. I want to see them, and then the Rev. Hell, it was Tiger Army that started to turn me onto Gretsch in the first place.

Since there are a few locations here that offered open-air concerts with limited audience, I was lucky to get some live music, even played a gig locally myself.
I'm really hoping that one of the cancelled mini-festivals will take place in April '21, that would definitely be a dream-come-true: Tommy Castro and the Painkillers on Friday, Matt Schofield on Saturday. MS is on my list for several years now.
