@Danno - Another March 30 miracle! You, Secretariat, (I think) Vincent Van Gogh, Warren Beatty, Clapton, a few others, and....Me too!!! Yup, I hit the big FIVE-OHHHHHHHHH!!!!

It sounds crazy but I think I had my mid-life crisis in my mid-20s when I finally closed the chapter on my hope/dream/wish of taking my golf game to the pro level. I felt empty but realized the freedom to pursue so much more that golf was taking the place of and really accelerated my cooking skills and guitar playing. Reality though turned out to be a gateway to opportunity and not door slamming shut.

I have to admit that I let my "greed" for that Sr. VP title in the corporate ladder take me over from around 2000 until I decided to redefine happines via ambition a few years ago and ambition for life outside of my career. I'm equally ambitious but have transitioned away from the corporate vision to define it. So now I'm playing music more than ever and really have seen the greatest amount of improvement these last 6 years.

Competition? Love it and have been a gym rat for 20+ years. I also love feeling good and know that age is far less an issue vs. inactivity.

Be well Danno, enjoy family, good health, and that Gretsch!!! Happy birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday and enjoy Nashville!
Lots to see and do there, but make sure to hit these spots:

Even if you're no staying at Opryland, the resort is pretty spectacular with some great restaurants.
