My parents were huge Ventures fans and had ALL the LPs. Listening to their music was pivotal in my interest in learning and playing guitar. I wore the grooves off those records learning all the songs and gave me a good foundation in melody. RIP Don.

Wow. Legend. I saw the Ventures in the 90's at the Iron Horse in Northampton MA. Bob Bogle was there too. Don made it look so easy. It was like a guitar lesson. RIP.

We actually have the same name.
I played in a band for 10 years called the Saddlemen. We played a lot of Ventures songs. When i was young the Ventures meant alot to me.
