Is there still a market for that?! A rock'n'roll rag? I mean ... other than reprinting the archive stuff as a webzine thing.

I dunno, seems to me the only reason Rolling Stone's survived is because it turned into a vaguely smarter version of People. Supermarket fodder, from what I can tell.

Best of Luck to them! I hope they do well, but keeping a magazine afloat these days ... That's a pretty tall order.

I stopped buying mags when they were reaching the $15-20 mark. That’s at least 20 years ago. Lord knows what they’re fetching now.
Their rates are tiered and few, to boot. Only 4 issues per year, looks like.

I paid for the print. Call me old school but I still prefer the feel of tangible reading material.

Digital has its place but, in my opinion, you just can't beat a physical magazine or book.

No doubt on the pricey side though. But I've got an entire year to look at the whole catalog of Lester Bangs being wrong.
