Def the best guitar to photograph! Thought I would share
That your studio?
Very cool space. Thanks for the pic!
very nice photo of a very nice space
love those presonus ADL600 mic pres, love em for stereo or M/S micing acoustics. what's your preferred use of em? also thats one sexy gretsch.
Once in a while I use it on overheads. It’s pretty good all around but I prefer non tube preamps for most stuff.
Nice picture of your "old Gretsch" . . . and cool workspace!
I hate my job ......
Great photo and a wonderful studio. I could enjoy that very much.
How do like your Twinfinity pre? I eyed those for a while and thought they’d be a great fit for me.
Hard to beat a big orange Chet.
That is an awesome picture, the Gretsch really "pops", this would make for a great advertisement.
I don’t have a teinfinity
My bad. I’m on my phone and there appeared to be a UA device in the top right that I mistook for it.
No worries. That’s the 610 preamp. I’ve had it for about 18 or so years. For kick drum, bass or the right vocal it’s really nice. It’s kind of dark but with the right mic it’s really nice. Years ago I used a TLM-103 with it and it was a magical pair on vocals and acoustic guitar. Worked really well together.
usually I use my console pres or a pair of API 312s, which is the third box from the bottom in the right rack.
best outboard piece I have is my 480L, you can kind of see the remote. I love that thing!
Awesome picture and great work space.
Thanks everyone! Here's things from the other side:
Now that I zoomed in I can see it’s a 610. I was only looking at the right side.
