I'm the new owner of a G2655 Streamliner and loving it but I wanted to adjust the pole screws of a rather hot "A" string. I fitted the proper size screwdriver to the Broad'Tron screws but found them (all of them) reluctant to turn in either direction. Obviously I don't want to apply too much torque and end up stripping them.

So, is this abnormal? Anyone else experience this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Paul

They can be a little snug due to the wax potting inside the pickup. Nasty stuff! If you're that worried you could probably hit them with a hair dryer but don't get too crazy with the heat.

Maybe heat up the screw with a soldering iron, but be very, very careful.

Using the right screwdriver size makes all the difference. Hope that helps.
