Maybe it has been asked before, but I'm just curious as to what he used on that record. I know he wanted it to sound vintage. Even his slap back sounded more like an echo... I'm sure he used did he use Filtertrons or Dynasonics? I think I heard he used an old Supro.. I have a Vintage 47 Supro Comet with a 10inch speaker that gets me close to that sound. I know he typically uses nickelwound strings, but did he use Flats? I'm not interested in replicating his tone, I'm just curious..

Thanks

Sun Records tribute album/ Rockabilly Riot vol 1. album was done at Castle Recording Studios in Nashville. (Tommy Mcguire took the photos) Brian used a green sparkle duojet on a large portion of the recording (A bit of the black hotrod and martin) and as usual he ran through
the space echo and the echoplex. Most all recordings have echoplex layered over the recordings
