The silver guard looks great on the Jazzmaster!View attachment 200460
The 335 on the left has since been sold as I preferred the Sheraton. Country Gent in the middle with a full hollow 330L on the right. Both Fenders are partcasters.
Who made the guard if you don't mind my asking? Thanks!
I had originally planned to go black/gold, but silver seemed to work better. Here's a better pic of it.

I love the look of glossy black things, including guitars. However mine ends up looking like I've let my grandkids loose on it after I've played, covered in finger marks which slightly spoils the effect.Similar with black cars too; look great after being washed and polished, then covered in dust minutes later.
However, for those few minutes after a clean and polish they look great.
Black car too (though currently very dusty in my garage awaiting me to get on with some work on it):

The pick guard is wild! I like it. And binding too. Very cool.Obviously I like this one. This one is also the lightest electric guitar I own And it has a slimmest neck.
That is the first guitar I ever bought. Cost me 800$ for it a a MG50dfx that once home I hated once I got it home. probably way more than I should have spent on a modified Aerodyne Strat like 18-20 years ago. I returned the Marshall two weeks later and paid another couple hundred for a Peavey Super 40 XXX.The pick guard is wild! I like it. And binding too. Very cool.
