...i LOVE black guitars - i have half a dozen! it's a bold look. but, for me, it's gotta be BLACK! no maple fretboards, and as little contrast as possible - ALL black!

It was a few years ago so details are a bit fuzzy, but I think I ordered it from EY Guitar parts.

I love the look of glossy black things, including guitars. However mine ends up looking like I've let my grandkids loose on it after I've played, covered in finger marks which slightly spoils the effect. 
Similar with black cars too; look great after being washed and polished, then covered in dust minutes later.
However, for those few minutes after a clean and polish they look great.

Donated this black G5425 Electromatic Jet Club along with a Katana 100 amp to my grand daughter's high school band. The band colors are black with red and silver trim. Found a shop that laser engraved the band logo on a red pick guard. The kids loved it.

That is the first guitar I ever bought. Cost me 800$ for it a a MG50dfx that once home I hated once I got it home. probably way more than I should have spent on a modified Aerodyne Strat like 18-20 years ago. I returned the Marshall two weeks later and paid another couple hundred for a Peavey Super 40 XXX.
