This is my Black Beauty
I think it's hard to beat a black Gretsch for classiness personally. Here're mine:
Left to right: my first Gretsch a 5655-TCB, now all modded up; my Silver Panther; & a 6128T
6128-59 vintage reissue
I forget where I saw them... Sorry!!!
I want to say I saw them somewhere on this forum, but I'm not sure...
One of my favorites.
6120-DC with Duo Trons
Is that decorative tape that you used for f-holes?
Room for one more?
2014 6118T-LTV-JR 130th Anniversary Junior Limited Edition Black front/Metallic gold back and sides with Powertrons, ebony fretboard & ML bracing.
Don’t forget the black corvette—the G5135CVT Patrick Stump signature Electomatic
A black sparkle collection could be fun - this Jet, the Historic Streamliner 6131, 6 string bass, and lap steel. And then seek out the matching drums.
For my money, the coolest looking Gretsch (not mine, of course):
Too lazy to dig them all out, but here's this. Did my own $20 hand pick via GC used website.
Had two sent in to my local GC and returned one minus the shipping and walked out with the other. The left one to be precise.
