I think I almost miss this guy! His auctions for vintage Gretsch guitars are so entertaining!

Where the action is!
What a maroon. "Custom ORDER Gretsch Country Club...FROM 1956!! So hard to find where Buyer ordered a custom order from Gretsch with a BIGSBY!...Nearly impossible to find, yes this is a vintage 3k tailpiece from 1956."

More accurately, a '56 Club that has been defaced and devalued by the installation of 1960s or later B7.

Where to begin! That Bigsby though! The price on this SOOOOOOPA RARE guitar needs to be at least halved! They hadn't got round to anodizing in 1956? That's when they stopped anodizing! So wrong and, I love blonde Clubs!

And whatever the realistic value might be for that year and model, you can cut that in half because of the “full refinish head to toe.”

The funny thing is that this guy has been around as long as anyone in the world of vintage Gretsch. Maybe longer than most. He can’t possibly be that ignorant. It must be willful. Most of us have been seeking knowledge on a journey of education while he’s been futilely trying to squeeze stupid amounts of money out of sometimes interesting guitars, but usually nothing special.

Odd cause Bigsby did Not make that type of Bigsby in 1956, so it's deffinately a later Bigsby. Beautiful wood, but folks don't realize that 98% of the time it's veneer, not solid wood on these old ones. That price is awfully hopeful..

Gretsch never made an electric guitar with a solid carved top. The only possible exception might be the Sal Salvador in 1965. Even that is speculative, but the weird chain of events and very high price of the guitar for that one year only suggest that that might be true
