Did you change the tuners on yours?
Saw some Peerless speaker drivers the other day. I wonder if it’s the same company?
Looks awesome Nick
I didn't, but the pervious owner did. It also came to me missing its pickguard, so I added one from a 2006 Casino I had laying around.
Good question. I don’t know much about the company
Not familiar with the Peerless brand, how is the price comparison with a Casino?
FWIW I bought my Peerless used, with a hard case for $399 within the last 6 months. However, it seems that was on the low price end, since even getting a used Casino with a case for that price would be difficult, and it has the Epiphone name.
I believe Peerless made their Epi models and the Casino in particular until about 2004/5? I have a Casino that is a 2006 made in Korea but at the Saein plant. Very shortly after production went to China.
Just under $1000 for this one
Good buy Nick,
Beautiful guitar, your personalized mods make it just that much nicer!
Looks terrific Nick. Once you get your first decent Casino it becomes easy to understand why there is so much love for them! They do a lot of things well.
Thank you. I’m gonna put a better bridge and some better knobs on it and I’ll be done from there. I like the sound of the pick ups so I won’t mess with that
I’m just surprised at how lite this guitar is. Even with the Bigsby it’s supper lite but doesn’t feel cheap. Plus it plays and sounds great.
In combination with your Bigsby, an ABM 2400 roller bridge would be a good pairing.
