It was a year ago that I posted the last time here. I've been over at the other Gretsch Forum, but it has become pretty obvious that that site is very quickly dying! You guys actually discuss guitars here! No prairie farm report or drinking from mud puddles.

Cheers to Good old fashioned Gretsch posts!

    Nick.

Welcome back. I've scaled back my participation on other site as well. I like the iPhone app too.

    I have:

A G5191 Tim Armstrong, I took out the terrible Blacktop pups and replaced with TV Jones Powertrons. Also added a Compton SS bridge.

A 6120 SSUGR. Replaced horrible rattley bridge with a TruArc Aluminum bridge.

A 6136LTV White Falcon. A tenth anniversary present from my wife. Another rattley bridge replaced with a Stainless Steel TruArc.

I also have 2 Les Pauls, a MIM Strat, and a MIM Tele, all are modded in some way.

    I have a 1966 Fender Bassman head, a 1981 50 W Marshall JMP 2204 head, and a Fender GDec3 30 Blues edition. Both heads run into Marshall 1960a or b cabs.

The Marshall head in that pic is my old Marshall Vintage Modern which I sold when I acquired my JMP.

Welcome back, always nice to see another Marshall on GT. Good to see you resisted the urge to make a full-stack. :)

    Welcome back!

I see we have something in common. I also have a wine red Les Paul and a Falcon, though mine is red, but similar to the LTV. And I'm also a Marshall fan, though I currently only have room for a small Blackstar HT5R combo.

And I also find the GDP forum software annoyingly "old school". But I hope, that site won't die, because it has a great Gretsch database ... too bad it lost some entries due to the site's database crash this summer.
