I recently changed the stock Gretsch "wobbly" bridge on a 5622T to an ABM roller bridge which made the tone richer and increased the sustain ... as well as apparently helping the vibrato stay in tune. Definitely NOT the "rattling tone-sucker" some believe these to be.

I am interested in whether the same changes to the acoustic sounds can be found with a heavier built bridge on my hollow-body than currently has the stock Adjusto-matic. Hard-tail, so no need for the potential of rollers. Has anyone experience of a Tru Arc on these models (or similar)?

Yes---and the rock steady (non-rocking) Truarcs are great.
