That brass looks purdurn good, indeed. I'm not as big a hater of gold as many, I see its shortcomings and have some Gretsches bearing that misfortune of worn-off plating...come to think of it, all 5 of them are like that, but the guitars are sufficiently redeeming to overlook that. Brass is class.

I came in for a second peek. That warm brass glow with nickel screws looks killer together. Maybe it’ll start a new trend.

Those look great! Are brass covers something TV Jones usually has available?

That looks and sounds awesome Tavo :)
I love the look of aged nickel and brass, so it'd be a tough call to choose between those two.
Don't like blingy things, so gold is out for me.

Been thinking of putting a brass nut on my 5420 for a while.

not as of yet, I just saw a pic of their USA made brass tron covers on their way to plating and my eyes lit up, and asked to have some made with the rest of my usual orders in the cue.

TV Jones better watch out! They make get a few requests for the un-plated covers!! I'd take some for sure.

chrome, nickel or gold. the gold is thin electroplating over nickel. Pickup covers in general are pressed n punched brass

Ye I've got the chrome ones in my 5420, just wondering what the base material was. But you also answered that, so thx for the info :D Would've gone with nickel, but I was unsure of how it would look in combo with the rest of the chrome hardware.
Does anyone have a pic of aged chrome pups?

Love what you have done there Tavo. That brass looks great. I only like the gold when it has naturally tarnished and looks old and used. I have one guitar with that look my 77 Guild X500 all naturally aged over time. I've had it over 20 years it was my first "I want to be Brian Setzer type guitar fantasy"

Looks great. For me brass, copper, and bronze are all winners.

Are you buying stock in Brasso? JK. It looks great and it’s definitely a great alternative to gold. I’m not of fan of gold once it starts to flake off so bras is great and as it gets sweat etc on it it will tarnish and look really cool
