Awesome! Not Fade Away was our wedding song. After the ceremony, I led in singing (with 2 buddies on acoustic guitars) as the party walked to the reception area. My favorite wedding ever! ;)

Do you get the feeling the Stones are just waiting to BURST out of those suits?!

Diatonic harp tends to breed folkies & hippies.. You need to get away from the diatonic harmonicas and get into Chromatic, for some really great jazz n' jump blues. This is a real instrument and sloughs off the back pocket hippie ! :)

Great story! I hope the song's prophecy is fulfilled. :)

Yup! -- The anti-Beatles were just not suited for suits.

Many people thought they were "unsuitable" when they first appeared. :D

By the way, Lonely was from the soundtrack of You're A Big Boy Now (1967). It starred the lovely and talented, late Elizabeth Hartman.

I have played with some tremendously good harmonica players at times and enjoyed it.

I have also played with some that don't seem to know when to stop blowing the d##@ things!!!

The best version, I think, compared to the studio and other live versions:

The vocals, harmonica, guitars, etc. sound more "lively" to me.

Not a bigtime harmonica lover but I do enjoy playing around with mine on occasion.

The harmonica was courtesy of John Sebastian.
