Welcome to the dark side !
Howdy! Welcome to the asylum!
Nice start to your Gretsch addiction. Wait'll you discover Pro Lines!
truth be told, a white falcon is one of my bucket list guitars, has been for a long time..
Welcome from Paris, and congratulations on that terrific guitar to start your Gretschmania.
I sometimes wonder what an unweaned youngster like me do in that room...
Welcome and enjoy
Welcome to GT Ray!
Beautiful geet ya got there sir!
Beautiful guitar. I'm not typically a fan of gold hardware on guitars but on certain Gretsches it just looks right.
Here's a welcome, Ray, from Canada. I'm 65 and have been visiting here for a bit more than a year. It wasn't long before I started to sense that many of the contributing members had many years of experience!
Welcome from London. Good Choice, nice guitar.
Hi Ray I'm not 62 yet ok will be come Sept. Sounds like we had some of the same Guitars. Always had a love so an SG. Got my First Gretsch before Christmas. already thinking about my 2nd one. I was about 6 when I got my First Roy Rogers Guitar. I made a lot of noise on that thing.
Welcome to the forum, Ray!
Welcome - that is a sweet guitar.
Again, many thanks to all of you for quite a warm welcome. It's also comforting to see there are so many members with a similar "vintage" as myself! HA!...
I do not think this will be my LAST and only Gretsch. I sure am liking this Electromatic that's been here for just over a week. I'm still waiting for the Gretsch case. For now, I'm making due with a gator 335 case I had previously acquired.

Phil66... I do remember those! My very first guitar was a LaStella classical. I let my sister borrow it at one point, and I found out years later that her ex-husband had put his foot through one night. (key word here is EX husband..) Ahh good times... Gooooood times...
BTW: SGs is a a great guitar to have handy. Hits like a lot like a les paul sonically, but at half the weight. Great fret access too.
Welcome to the forum Ray . . . love your guitar.
