Congratulations, Joe, on a job well done. You have been a great ambassador for Gretsch and now you get to sit down and play (hopefully a Gretsch or two but it would be funny to find out that you’ve spent the past 40 something years secretly shredding on Jacksons in your basement).

All the best to you in your retirement, Joe!

As someone who retired last year, I'm sure that you'll find your life filling up with family, doing odd projects, and just generally being so busy, you'll wonder how you ever had time to work. The great part is that all the new things are about smelling the roses.

Thanks for the 47 years of dedication to a great product, that gives my life an extra touch of joy, and again, all the best to you, Joe.

Joe, thanks for everything, and enjoy your well deserved retirement. I know that you'll still be around. You may be retiring from the business, but you can never get the music out of your soul.

Happy retirement, Joe. I had the pleasure of meeting you in Minnesota at a Round-Up I attended, and in Milwaukee at Cream City Music. A more gracious and passionate representative of Gretsch I can not imagine. Great that you are joining us retired folks, and best wishes for the future. Cent' anni!

Wow! You always struck me as the “hardest working man” at Gretsch. You never appeared to slow down.

You have earned a good retirement. I very much enjoyed sitting next to you at dinner, and taking with you, a couple years ago at the Nor Cal Roundup. You did cost me a lot of money that day when you did not draw my name to win the Caddy Green Players Edition Jet you brought. I had to go buy one :D

Your Gretsch experience and knowledge is amazing and will be missed.

    Congrats on your retirement
