Back in August, I posted some pics of a new build which I had just completed - this one:

Well, yesterday a new one was pretty much completed with more setting up done today. Here it is

    upload_2021-10-18_0-21-27.jpeg

It's quite similar but a little lighter in weight than the last one (7.22 lb = 3275 g versus 7.66 lb = 3470 g for the first one) and has an unpainted back and a natural, unstained curly maple top. The back is poplar and didn't look like it needed hiding.

It started out with cream-ish coloured covers and knobs but, at present, has black

    upload_2021-10-18_0-27-37.jpeg

I'm still not sure about the pickup colour

Anyway, thanks for having a look.

Congrats on your builds, they are beauties. I like the black pickup covers best but both look good.

    Enjoy playing your builds.

Both colors are fine with the top, @new6659 .:cool::cool:
Maybe Black and Gold association is more "classical-classy" ?

    A+!

Its looks super-cool with the creme-coloured pickups to me. Wonderful job. Congrats.

Seriously cool, love your work, but you know that lol.
I think if you had cream knobs and switch tip then the cream pick up covers might be more appealing to you.

Thanks @Archtops! I like the cream covers on the natural maple colour myself. My wife, however, voted for black;)
