Can any help identify this model? The seller insists it’s a G5235T but from the inlays I would have said it’s a G5435T. The serial number dates it as August 15

The G5235T has thumbnails and minihums. I've got one.

Thanks. I can feel smug now, although I obviously spend way too long looking at fretboards

    Smuggly!
    Aug 15th, but what year?
    The 5235 was 2008---Gretsch 125th anniversary.

Congrats on the new guitar, is that a purple jet in the middle of the rack there or is it just the lighting of the picture?

Well spotted. It’s the Deep Cherry Red double jet. Front to back on the stand is 5103/5, Jet Club, the double jet and a 2622 in Gunmetal.

Nice. I have a 5435T exactly like that, and I'm about to drop a pair of T-Armonds into it for a Harrison theme.

I'm loving it so far. Probably my imagination but it seems to sound completely different to my 5232T even with the same strings on
