Had the action lowered a bit and it's more playable now . Such a beautiful tone ! I see there's a used Koa wood model on Reverb . https://reverb.com/item/43502258-gretsch-g9110-concert-ukulele-with-hard-case

Kala makes some nice furniture . I recently compared the Ohana CK-35 and Kala KA-SMHC side by side in a shop . Holding the Ohana felt much lighter , and the sound more open . I was just having a go at what I mistakenly took to be Kala spam .

"The Ohanas have a nice light construction that makes it very resonant." Kalas are overbuilt bricks . And I like my Gretsch !

No shortage of ukes here but the Gretsch caught my attention on You Tube , for it's sound/tone and roots style . It's marketed on Gretsch website as Folk & Bluegrass but seems to me old-school Hawaiian .

Aloha , I just started playing ukulele and I like Hawaiian music . The Gretsch g9100 has caught my attention .
