Bow rosin does a good job and might be more finish friendly than tape.

Came stock on my 6120DE and works just fine, currently using half round 10s with no problems at all.
Outstanding workmanship, how close can you come to Duane Eddy tones? Perhaps some sound files?

Half Rounds and GHS Fast Fret. Use the Fast Fret before and after session, keeps strings clean and just a bit slick.
The Tex-Mex set in my Nashville have some heat.
I had the same guitar and was going to do the upgrades until I priced everything out. Sold the 5120 and bought the 6120de. Still have a Gretsch...

Cool pedal, I got the Sub 'n' Up instead of the 12 string guitar, space and budget being issues. Keep one of your 12 strings, just because.
