That tone can only be achieved by carefully looking at my dear old 1969 VoxAC30 (pic above) while in fact using a digital model of an AC30...
No I don; use phone. OK for clear outdoors. I use a little Canon G7 . Dead small portable in a jacket pocket yet very nice image quality I think...
