    "Baby's Coming Home"

Thanks guys ! I used to have a pretty full-blown home studio, but sold it all off about 4-5 years ago. These days it's pretty basic: Dell Laptop computer Band In A Box program for creating the chart and whatever instrument tracks I want... bass, keys etc. Its companion 'DAW' - 'Real Band'...

    Brass Nut ?

The '58 does not have a zero fret. My '59 and '62 both do but the '58 doesn't http://www.gretschguitars.com/products/index.php?partno=2401131892

    Brass Nut ?

I dunno. Maybe it's designed to be used with a TOM bridge ? That's why I'm asking. If it makes no difference sonically if one is using a bar bridge, then I'd just get the regular one as I don't use a TOM bridge. OR do you mean to apply this concept to a bar bridge ?

    Sanding bridge base?

Yes, the 'pins' are wood and embedded into the guitar. Cannot easily remove them (I don't think ?)

    Sanding bridge base?

I have a bridge base that does not fit flush on a 6122-1959 I aquired. The ends of the base do not make contact with the body. Still sounds OK, but it bugs me not being fully flush. I would try the sanding thing but on this model it's a pinned bridge, so I don't think the rubbing back and...

    Gas gone ? ... NOT, I guess

I thought GAS was over. 3 very nice proline Gretschs, of which my fave is the G6122-1959 Hall Of Fame, 2nd fave the Duane Eddy, and the 'dinked' with '59 LTV. My quandry: I used to enjoy switching back and forth between the HOF and shorter scale DE or LTV. But lately, when I do, the DE / LTV...
