I have two of the older Pathfinder 15r amps. Really nice tremolo and real spring reverb. Nice warm cleans, highly recommended. I use them at home in a low volume stereo setup. Love 'em.

If you look at recent electromatic threads you'll see one about it. A lousy pic and covered in stickers but it's there. It was pointed out that it is probably a walnut 5120 with a pickup swap, as it looks like there's some kind of shim under the pickups.

A G2622 in Walnut Stain is the only guitar I've ever bought brand new. I agree there's something about the feel of it, a very easy playing guitar. It came with a PLEK and full setup to my specifications, so that obviously makes a big difference, but it has this something, it's very comfortable...

Yeah this is very likely. I would haggle a bit and ask for more of a discount, maybe 300 off. Whoever they try to sell that guitar to as a new one will most likely be as unhappy as you are, so they won't be able to sell it at a brand new price.
