Will I regret selling my "lmtd ed" Gretsch Setzer Smoke?

With all due respect it sounds as if you already know what to do. At the end of the day it’s a guitar, sell it and unload your debt. “Debt free” is a far better feeling than having a really nice guitar that doesn’t get played. Besides, sounds like the ‘99 is your main squeeze anyhow.

    Danelectro CTO2 V2 Transparent OD

First, I’m not a big pedal user which is only a personal choice. I don’t like a lot of fiddling around. I do however like working with transparent OD’s and about 5 or 6 years ago bought a used CTO2 because it was advertised as a Timmy clone and Paul Cochran had new ones back ordered for ages...

    What Are Essential Guitars?

Essential is very personal and no right or wrong but to me, at some point we take an ES3XX or a Tele and plug in to a Deluxe or Twin and get on with it. Only my humble opinion.

Why do we obsess over the next guitar?

…and by the way, congratulations on the name ”Pops”. My Granddaughters christened me Pops a long time ago and I still wear it with pride…as I trust you do. Pops is still displayed proudly on my 355

Why do we obsess over the next guitar?

Yes, every guitar I buy I become dissatisfied that it doesn’t sound and feel like my old 355 so figure, why buy another guitar…but at times I still do, and regret it. That said, I have never, not once, regretted the purchase of my Gretsch Panther. It is an awesome, versatile instrument. I could...

Why do we obsess over the next guitar?

I see Lots of gear I want but seldom act on it these days. I’ve bought and sold 8 or 10 guitars over the last couple of years but nothing lives up to my main guitar so I figure there’s no sense in buying another guitar just to have it sit. I‘ve become quite happy with plugging my 355 into a...
