    Good thing I like winter.

I call them the art of mother nature, and none is similar (plus they move/change all the time).

    Winter?

Happy Festive Season to all !

Merry Christmas to all. As for Christmas time ... a stranger has spent time on our lands/forests (up north). And I'm not talking about Santa now.

Why do we like the sound of vinyl?

I think my father simply likes turntables as mechanical equipment. Two of his:

I Don't Bond With SG Style Guitars-So Shoot Me

Oh, I did not know that. So that was real Gibson? Probably (too) expensive anyway. Interesting to look the positions of 3 pickups. Looks like Frank Marino has put especially the neck pick up much closer to neck than Gibson did. They chased different sounds?

I Don't Bond With SG Style Guitars-So Shoot Me

Never owned SG-type guitar. If I would own one I would probably do ''Frank Marino modifications'' ... I assume there is not one like this on sale as new?

    Danelectro 12 string Korea

I will catch one of those before Christmas time (my own Christmas gift). So yes; this will be my next guitar. There are actually 3 models of 12 strings electric Danelectros available right now. 1.) The cheapest one is Danelectro 59 vintage 12 (different colors) Price: 549euros in Europe...

    My metal guitar

I was playing metal for long time (as one person asked). This is pretty thin guitar ... I just do not like tone of it much (same with all of these ''modern Humbucker guitars''). If I would put strats S-S-S pickups into this, who knows I could use it more often.

If I could use 3000euros for guitar...

Ok, if it is neck heavy it would not be for me. That can really be true as this has really think semi-hallow body (it can not weight much). But yes... it looks gorgeous. I also like that they have mixed silver/chrome and gold parts. I thought that could not work in guitar, but it really does.

If I could use 3000euros for guitar...

Yes. US dollar is strong against Euro right now. US dollar seems to be strong against UK's pounds (£) as well. I have not followed how the same is with Japan's jeni. I do not go to reasons as politics are not allowed here. The reasons are still pretty obvious if following news.

If I could use 3000euros for guitar...

I have not own any Harley Benton guitars but I know the brand is in sale here in Europe (Thomann Germany). Probably one of their own brands/labels? And those guitars are very inexpensive. For example original strat copies goes from 79euros https://www.thomann.de/fi/harley_benton_ms15bk.htm to...

If I could use 3000euros for guitar...

Not my opinion as such ... was pure guess more like. Does not matter at all, as I will not gonna use 3000euros for any guitar. In real I tend to purchase guitars between 500euros and 1000euros. That price range will offer quality - price ratio which I'm able to accept. If my salary/livelihood...

I would buy Duesenberg Joe Walsh model... Gretsch + Rickenbacker + Hofner = Duesenberg?

    Gretsch g5422g-12

What comes to 12 strings Danelectros alone, I more keen to test 59X12 than 59 Vintage 12. Just as the first one seems to offer wider range of tones.
