Dave Murray

David D. Murray is a retired Attorney, having had offices in Newport Beach, Placentia, and Westminster, in Orange County, California, just south of Los Angeles. His practice had an emphasis on Business and Litigation, Business and Family Immigration, Copyright, Trademark andTrade Secret Litigation, International Trade, and Contracts. Even after retirement, Mr. Murray continues to serve as Advisory General Counsel for U.S. Intecon Advisory Group, Ltd., Benji International Services, Ltd. and Cathay Ocean Global Shipping Line, Ltd.
Mr. Murray served with the U.S. Army, first as an Instructor at the Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia, and then attached to the I Corps Signal Group Headquarters, Phu Bai, South Vietnam, where among other duties he served as a Professor of English at the U. of Hue, participating in a United States Information Agency cultural exchange program.
Active in the charter sailing industry in the West Indies from 1964 to 1982, holding a 100-ton captain's license, Mr. Murray is intimately familiar with all of the islands of the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, logging in excess of 100,000 miles of ocean sailing since 1964 when he first went to sea as a deckhand aboard the 197 foot schooner "Yankee Clipper".
Mr. Murray is a hiker, outdoor sportsman, off-road Jeep enthusiast, long-distance Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider, an avid guitar, banjo and ukulele player and a collector of Chinese art and fine jade.
