Interesting combonation,I bet that is a unique awesome tone.

The amp is a topboost preamp with a pair of 6v6's for power. You can pull Vox,Marshall and I won't say Fender but American type tones. This speaker setup has been a favorite for some time then if I want to go a bit cleaner I'll pull the Blue for an Emmi Texas Heat! It's my 4th Tophat and I just don't see life worth living without one in my life!

In the same way, I have try jensen 12"p magnet & alnico bulldog 12"... Great too.
