Looks great Pop's. I was just looking at some old pricey Les Pauls that were issued with...rosewood(?; no, I think they were lighter) picguard and surrounds. Very rich looking. I'd guess you turned those out yourself?
Dafreeze: Yes i did make them myself. Had some left over cedar that I had oredered to replace a top on an Ovation. These scraps were just the right size. Thanks for the compliment. I really like the look of the wood. Looks very natural.

Thanks DaddyDistortion, it was not a lot of hassle to make the cedar pickguard as I used the clear one for a pattern. The pup surrounds I was able to do the same by using the Gretschbucker surround as a pattern for the outside dimensions and then made a template for the Filtertrons to fit inside.
