I have a G2655T and thought you might be able to share your experience. The bridge screw on my low E string seems to automatically loosen and start to vibrate. It only lasted for about two weeks after having a luthier tune up the guitar before starting to rattle again. Have you had any issues like this? Is that why you're getting a new bridge for yours? Thanks! Rex
To answer your question, no, I haven't had a problem, and I played the snot out of mine for a few months before changing the bridge. The reason why I went with the Compton aluminum bridge was because a friend has a G5420 with the copper bridge, and I was absolutely blown away. I did aluminum just for looks, and I'm seriously thinking about getting the copper, just to experiment.
Ok. Thanks for the quick response!
No problem! You'll love the Compton bridge, they are truly amazing! Let me know how it goes!
