My next guitar is shipping end of March: 6134-LTD-SMG
A Jade Grey Jet may be calling my name. I don’t know why I’m obsession with it. Played one at GC, and it was magic. Best Jet I’ve ever played, including my vintage 55 Duo Jet.
I totally understand what you've posted. I consider myself really lucky to have 4 Jets - 2 Electromatic and 2 Proline - but the humble G5220 stands tall among them all. Mine is Casino Gold
just slapped this together today..came out sounding pretty good..
I am pretty sure that I will end up with a Yamaha Pacifica.
I am still learning and finally at the 'THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE PLAYING GUITAR' stage.
One of the guys at work has a mint Pacifica that has been in his basement for 20 years that he wants to sell so he can buy more scuba diving gear - people with other hobbies get GAS too.
He also has a Fender Princeton 112 Plus amp to go with it. He wants $200 CDN (about $150 US) for the combo.
I really just want the guitar only to keep at work so I can practice a bit at lunch and breaks.
An extra 30-40 minutes a day of practice will pay huge dividends toward my playing so I figure it is money well spent.
I am saving up for a Telecaster - a Squier Classic Vibe would make me very happy.

but I just watched Mike Campbell play his Ric’ 625/12 and heard angels. I’m hoping I don’t cross paths with one of these colors...
I recommend hittin' the gym for some extra sets of squats and deadlifts before these arrive!
Yeah, they are a bit on the heavy side, but I really like the solid feel, and I'll probably be sitting most of the time anyway.
If I had room at the ranch for another guitar .., It'd be one of these ...
Here's hoping it plays as nice as it looks.
Anyone ever have one in hand ?
I have sold nothing, I have not even tried, and yet I feel this beauty tugging at my shirt tail. I already have a Jazzmaster, but I believe I would trade it quick n fast for this thing. Just look how gold!!!
I’m in a different place with regards to getting another guitar.
I’ve fulfilled my wants and have my core covered: a Ric, an LP, semi hollow Gibson, P-90 semi- hollow, two Red Rocket Atomic Retro Customs( one with Powertron Plus in Bridge that has a split coil; the other with a Charlie Christian in the neck position) , six Gretsch guitars, and several Strats and Teles, including two AVRI Strats, and a ‘66 Telecaster.
I found a great luthier/ set-up guy, and every time I take a guitar in for work, it comes back to me playing and sounding like a brand new guitar.
How are Eastman guitars? I live in a small town in East Texas, and most guys around here are Fender and/ or Gibson guys. I'm the only one I know of who owns Gretsch and DeArmond guitars. Always been curious about Eastman, but don't know anyone with one I can try out.
Hand made in China and possibly the best crafted guitar I have ever owned. I have owned two.
A couple shots of the blond I did own and the red one I own now.
Tony's vamping on a Gibson Super V CES,i think they were discontinued around 1987 or so.
And my next guitar is.....
Ive been working on this for a few months.
I just need to make some space now. The new studio is one fifth the size of the old one so im selling equipment and packing boxes before i bring in anything else. So excited and patience is NOT my strong suit.
these guitars are soo nice to play and cover a wide palette. The only thing needed is a little work w a file on the vibrato unless youre lazy like me and just bought a used fender vibrato and stuck a tru-arc on it. love these dipinto guitars
yeah this trem system is always a bit of an odd duck in my experience. Once it gets sorted out though, it's fantastic. If I hadn't told myself not to buy another guitar unless I sell one I'd already have this golden goose in my house!
