Brown Eyed Handsome Man. Not only does Marlo Venus win the wrestling match, in spite of losing her arms, she no longer has the world in the palm of her hands since her arms are gone. The double-stop Calypso bits are fun too.

"Maybellene" is such a rocker.... I am just preparing a wild motorheadisch arrangement for my Evil-Elvizz project.

This is one of my favourites:

When I first heard this song, I thought he was singing "too much rockabilly". :D

I always felt that "Nadine" was different from most of his songs - I like it very much indeed.

    That's Milo Venus, BTW. ;)

It's got to be " Little Queenie." Just a perfect example of Chuck's rhythm, lyrics and very simple double stop licks. It's the essence of what he did.

    Count me in......Maybelline ;)
A Cadillac a-rollin' on the open road
Nothin' will outrun my V8 Ford
    The Cadillac doin' about ninety-five
She's bumper to bumper, rollin' side by side..

..reminds me off when me and dad threw in a bored olds rocket 303 engine with Jahns racing high compression pistons in a 50s olds coupe and removed the muffler, that raw sound and holding that big steering wheel throught the nights first test drive was something else man!

Chuck He had a song for everybody or any situation?..
I like all off his music ;)

If you look at the drummer, you might notice that it looks like Allen Freed, doing a pretty bad imitation of what's on the record.

I had been fooling with the guitar for about a year or two when "Johnny B Goode" came along. I heard it and thought, How can anyone be so good, even Chet couldn't capture something like that. Chuck laid a lot of the ground work for rock and roll guitar .....

I just watched the tribute Gene Simmons of KISS did for Chuck . It's titled - KISS Gene Simmons Tearful Tribute to Chuck Berry - Rock+Roll Legend
I hope someone can post it here . It gave me a different perspective of Gene Simmons
