Yep, I had one for violin at age 9. But preferred the tuning fork.

When you retire and forget what day of the week it is. I did that yesterday and realized that days of the week have little relevance now. Now I have to figure out a pattern for the week to help me stay connected to the days of the week.

That`s not necessarily a matter of age but of gender.
My ex-wife and my current wife both had the habit of placing important things everywhere in our houshold. Passport as a bookmark, purse in the fridge, trainticket between newspapers, keys under the bed`s pillows, glasses on the nose, wedding ring in the green waste, etc....
It was and is a constant search.

I think 1969 was the last year if not the pinnacle year for muscle cars.

I have Sirius XM in my car(s) and now they gave it to me as an app on my phone (free). So now wherever I am I can listen to channels 5 (fifties) 6 (sixties) 7 (seventies) and sometimes 8.....

My wife found me a clock that only tells you what day of the week it is. Handy.

I used to like hitting the fork and then putting the fork around the string to make it vibrate. This is reminding me of the NIGHTMARE of tuning the cheap student violins that rely just on wood pressure to hold its place. I'd love to see a violin with guitar type locking tuners.

My brother is now 66. He and his friends were discussing a knee operation one had to get. My brother remarked, (Excuse me ladies Please), "We used to talk about T and A, now we talk about hips and knees!"

No doubt, friction tuners are the worst. When i worked the music stores those cheap fiddles were a nightmare.

I wanted to relate a story of how last week I was in a crouching position for a couple of minutes and just couldn't get up(never happened before) Than I realised I couldn't for the life of me remember why I was crouching...OMFG.
