I think this is the third limited edition PRRI NAD to be posted in a day :D

This "Fudge Brownie" (stoopid name, Fender) is basically a standard 65 PRRI aside from the colour and the 10" alnico Jensen P10Q.

Sounds glorious - can't get a bad tune out of it. And my pedal board has been reduced to a single cable :)

Sweet! Congrats man, I’m so envious of people who can muster the discipline to bring it down to the basics.

I hear that! Every time I see a Jim Campilongo video, I want to go down to my tele and 1 amp LOL.

(and if I played ONLY that style of music, I probably could...)

Nah... I'm a HUGE Campy fan, have followed him for years.... he uses no pedals, except maybe a Klon when he can't put the Princeton on 10, and he also has a Distillery pedal for dealing with backlines. ONLY RECENTLY, since he started playing with Luca Benedetti (and awesome player; check him out on BandCamp, he just released a new one), has he started re-investigating them.

OR... when he has done sideman gigs, like for MArtha Wainright. But all those years doing his residency at the Living Room and more recently Rockwood? His only effect is a cable.

Just like Tab Benoit, another HUGE favorite of mine.

OH- Jim has recently discovered, and recommends, the OX. (attenuator/re-amper)

Clearly didn’t pass the Traynor drop test...
(Reportedly rigidness of early Traynors was tested by throwing it out a 2nd storey window)
Wasn’t there a amp manufacturer who tested builds by throwing them out of a moving truck?

  19. Nice. Enjoy. Is that a 120th Annie in bamboo yellow and copper b/s with TVJ Classic pups? That’s a wonderful guitar. I stupidly sold mine a few years ago.
