Would this pass as a Falcon?

    I am thinking of replacing the lame Falcon plaque on the headstock of one of my Falcons - spice it up a bit ...

    Do you think the bird in the photo would pass as a Falcon - I would have it 'mounted' to use the same screw holes as the existing name plaque.

    This looks more the deal but a bit tame with no wings spread - very ancient Egyptian looking

    If anyone gets close enough to your guitar to see that it's an eagle and not a falcon, they should step away.

    And anyway, a White Eagle would be cool.

    If you're looking for a "Falcon" icon to adorn your guitar with, in the U.S. (especially in the Atlanta region) THIS is highly recognizable!
