I'm more interested in the single cut with the Caddilac tailpiece.
It might nevertheless be a good idea to try first and compare to trestle bracing.
Got mine shortly after they were discontinued... some are going for stupid prices these days... And the Wild West Sweetheart model is pretty difficult to find in and of itself.

I just saw this one on eBay Italia - oh my!!! Synchromatic G400 MCV Custom with Filtertron and Bigsby. I'll settle for a G100CE, though!
Those baby blue Duo Jets with Dynas that was a Wildwood special run. Had one for sale locally a few months ago, but I didn't have $2k to spend.
The FSR Vintage White Double Cutaway White Penguin. Oh, how I want!
Champagne sparkle double cut Duojet. No gold hardware, naturally.
I've seen two and of course never when I've even had a sniff of a chance at buying one.
Like this? :
My 2001 6129-TC:
I would like to find a Chris Cheney Falcon.
Gretsch my1 or my2...they were reasonably inexpensive back n the day.....now I need one, they've disappeared off the face of the earth.....lol
Funny this old thread would get called back this week. In my opening post, I mentioned the Monkees model... one is on its way to me now. Is this premature NGD-alation?? I hope I haven't jinxed it.
I like the grey and violet country club... never saw one in real life though...

I had two full sets and couldn't give them away.
I'll take them, and pay for shipping!
Yup. Just gets my heart all in a flutter every time.
G6129t-1957 in Silver sparkle.
Probably a 3125. The 5125-29's are also equipped with the 2000's but are hollow bodies.
I still occasionally troll the web looking for a Gretsch BST 5000. It's similar to the Committee but I like the 5000 more.
I basically gave them away.
They are pretty crap imo.
I kept the sundown serenade one because it looked cool.
It makes me laugh when I seem them advertised at silly money n never sell.
