I was lucky enough to be stationed in England (RAF Lakenheath) in East Anglia. Saw all kinds of groups, and concerts there in '71-'72 were really inexpensive, so, unless I was on duty, I'd check out shows. I was near Cambridge, a great college town. I've seen Pink Floyd a few times, and many others. One of the most memorable was Free, in a circus tent, during a coal miners' strike, so, generators. Yes, about four times, in England and the US.

I've worked Mellencamp a half dozen times, Chicago a half dozen as well (Our theater was their first stop on tour for years. Reloaded semis three and four times. My first show as a stagehand was Cream in'68 just before I went into the service.

Audept did tours forever. He'll have some serious stories---but he's under the strictest confidence to maintain silence. What happens on the road, stays on the road.

Jeez, you’ve seen all my favorite bands more than once. I kinda hate you. But I also respect you.
I was born too late for anything cool so i’m staying outta this. Anyone cool i’ve seen, I’ve seen only once.
I have seen Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds 3 times. Opened for him the last time. That’s pretty cool.

Don't laugh--but Weird Al about 10 times. His band is really very good too, they can play anything.

Gin Blossoms and Tom Petty tied next, 3 times each.

For "national"/"international"/"big" acts I believe it's a 3 way tie between Dinosaur Jr., Fugazi, and Sonic Youth at 6 shows each.

Edit: Thinking about it, kind of surprising to me but I think the Dead are the next runners up at 5
