I done had that man! It was a Kimberly.
It was ait.
Also had this.
I have been lusting over Josh Homme's Motorave Belaire guitars, for quite some time. They are beautifully crafted instruments, with a price tag wayyyy beyond my budget!
I'll say. WOW!!!!!!
I always loved the look of the Ric 325, but the super short scale length makes it a bit tough to play. Hoping to pick up a Ric 350 in black, which is just like yours, but with a longer scale length.
Oh yea man, those are badass
You've posted a pic of a four pickup pointy solid-body. lol
Hoping the upcoming warmer weather will help with your arthritis.
It would be made from pie.
I do not have a single dream guitar.
But my dream Gretsch would be a custom built single-cut Falcon. Trestle braced with one Powertron pickup at the bridge, n o neck pickup and Bigsby.
I already own a 6119 1959RI and I love it. The Falcon would be a cosmetic upgrade on that.
I decided to post my dream guitar that is somewhat within my budget. One of my best friends bought one of these after carefully considering the sound and cost of owning a new Chet Atkins of similar color and finish. I have played his G5422 on a couple of occasions and other than a pro series Gretsch, I have not heard a better sounding guitar for my ears (very subjective analysis). The thing rings like a bell and the local luthier was able to set it up just barely above the frets from top to bottom with no buzz or any issues whatsoever. It sounds so good and is so easy to play, I am actually saving my nickels, dimes and quarters to get one myself. IMHO, it's the best $1000.00 guitar on the market.
The problem with those... people will expect you to be a virtuoso when you break it out.
The 5622 was 100% luck!
Sadly, there isn't a guitar that fills my dreams these days. Maybe an original 59 Les Paul, but that's never going to happen. If I want a guitar enough, I'll make it
I added a Ric 350 to the collection last year. It's very nice.
That's about where I'm at these days. Currently working on a Gretsch Corvette influenced build. Next on my list is a Reverend Dub King inspired build. Then possibly an LP of some flavor.
I'm another who is lucky enough to have his dream guitar my Tennessee Rose. I don't even feel a need for a Country Gent anymore! Mind you I do wish I had the Players Edition. Ho hum, such is life
I don’t know that you miss all that much by not having the Player’s Edition.
