Oh that is a sweetheart. Tempted to take my '35...
    20180731_153727.jpg

But it would probably be my 1992 Martin J40M-BK.

Unless I were assured there would be power, an amp and all required to make it work. Then, probably my Fender Road Worn 60s Stratocaster.

I've had a designated desert island guitar since 2009. That's why I bought it. I can't believe it's been 10 years allready. Back then they were 320 bucks. I salute my Squier '50s Classic Vibe Tele.

I feel right at home playing this one. In the meantime it has quite some mileage on it...

The acoustics and resonators some of you posted are gorgeous, but let's assume the island has power, and your favorite amp is already there plugged in, lol.

I'd be more than happy to, but I've been having a hard time posting my own pictures here. (Thats why I posted a Tele from Google images instead of my own.) Since I've been back, I only have internet access through my phone (my old laptop finally died). Is there anyone who can help me with getting pictures from my phone's camera roll to a gretsch-talk post? (I figured it out before when I came back and showed the new stuff in my collection, but I can't remember what the heck I did to finally get it to work.)

I'm only 28, I really shouldn't be this computer illiterate, lol.

Actually I found a picture of it that I had already posted:

Sorry I don't have a better quality picture, but I'll try to take some for you when I figure out how to post pictures from my camera roll. The relic job (even though I normally hate relic'd guitars) actually looks really great up close; I'll try to get some nice close-up shots for you.

    Good golly miss Waynee !

Always amazed me that they both used to call for revolution and still raised the flag.

I'm proud to play a guitar with an American flag on it, because I'm proud to live in a country where people can call for revolution while playing a guitar with an American flag on it.

Also, since most punk artists are super anti-government, I feel like proudly rocking the American flag made the MC5 even more punk. Patriotism isn't "cool", which makes the Wayne Kramer strat even cooler (at least in my eyes).
