Obviously the seller is on drugs.
Delusional. Of course, if the hardware is real silver..
Do you still stand by that statement (see bold) for this scenario?
Yes I do.
that was regarding higher end stuff but does apply to sny price level.
But cheaper n more common guitars will generally have a benchmark price.
It's not rocket science
When Items are over priced like this they will never sell.
He only has to wait a minute as he obliviously believes "a sucker is born every minute".
Yeah - but this one has a brass plate from a different model on the headstock! Thats worth at least a few hundred quid, no?
"looks and sounds just as good as it did when I bought it".
Curious statement to make after all those mods.
Some peoples delusions know no boundaries.
But if someone pays the full price for this overpriced product, is it still worth what the unknowing person paid for it?
I wonder if he even upgraded the strings. Ya know like those very rare strings with the flat wrap around material. I think they're called flatwound strings.
No one will pay that stupid pric!!!!!
I don't really get what your bagging on about?
I'm trying to understand something that YOU said about the value of something is whatever someone is willing to pay. Unless I took you out of context, that doesn't consider the true market value of the product, despite what someone pays.
In general the market/demand for used Gretsches is small over here in the uk.
So it's very hard to establish a true market value. Especially when people are advertising guitars at stupid prices on eBay/gumtree and forums that never sell.
I speak from experience of buying and spending a lot of money not just ready forum and making my opinions like a lot of people seem to do.
In general There is a massive difference between what someone is asking and what a guitar will actually sell for at the moment.
So back to the question of it's worth what someone will pay yes that's very true.
But there's always a ceiling price.
What do you mean by "True" market value? Is there a fake version.
What something is really worth, even though there may be a seller(s), who charges an exorbitant price.
What's everyone complaining about?
It does come with a padded gig bag
