I see a bunch of Visual Sound stuff on that board. How well does the volume pedal work? Thinking of upgrading my VPJR, and almost forgot about the Visual Volume pedal.... hmmm

It's easily the best volume pedal I've owned, but I've only owned a few. This one's been on my board for over seven years, been to a bunch of gigs and gets used at home. Works like the day I bought it. Interestingly, it was an upgrade from a VPJR.

I've got a Fender DRRI, a Genz Benz Black Pearl 30, and a Quilter Micro-Pro 200-8"...but since I got this baby, I hardly turn them on:

can you turn the tweeter off on that cab? It has to be gaadawful for overdrive? Even a speaker w an aluminum dust cap will shred your retina and pull your fillings from your teeth w a fuzz pedal.

My two favorites are my vintage Princetons. One is a silverface reverb, and the other is a blackface non reverb. The latter is the best sounding and quietest amp I've ever played through. They're the perfect size for me since I only play at home these days.

I have several amps with the Peavey Triple xx half stack getting most of the love but I also use a triple xxx super forty and JSX mini colossal and a Vox night train with a Joyo Atomic joining the group next Sunday. I do not always use amps. I do use my Audio interface a lot. it is the Antelope Audio Zen Tour with some very good amp, and cab simulations programmed through their FPGA but also effects and now Mics.

I've been playing a vintage Vox AC30 for nearly as long as I've been playing a guitar. Oldest being a '60, newest, '66. Got my first about 25 years ago, and my current, a '64, has been my main, often only, amp for about 10 years now. Other than a '64 Bandmaster that I had before my first AC30, I've never bonded with a Fender despite several attempts. I've dabbled in other Vox models (both larger and smaller) and liked them a lot, but the AC30 seems to be the sweet spot for me. And always with a Gretsch hollowbody (and I pretty much count vintage Jets in this category).
