I've not been able to reach him on this site or by telephone in the last couple of weeks. Anyone know what's happened to afire?

He posted here today so I'm presuming he's around.

He's not a daily poster. Give it some time and he will turn up.

    I dunno, there's a lot of timberwolves up where he lives. It's only a matter of time . . . :) :)

Close. I've been nursing an infected northern flying squirrel bite for the last couple of weeks. Frank, I'm not showing any PM's or conversations since you and JC and I were talking about his Gent. Sorry about the phone. Everyone who knows me complains about that.

I came remarkably close. :) Be careful of them squirrels, they are the piranha of the north woods. :)

Of course there is. It was a setup. I was Shanghaied. I was taking a stroll in a meadow, near the tree line, when a woodland jumping mouse popped up out of nowhere. Startled, I took a step back. But unbeknownst to me, a badger had been following me the whole time, right on my heels ready to trip me. Down I went, and the northern flying squirrel swooped down and latched on to my neck for about ten seconds before letting go. In the moment I was confused, but when I regained my composure, I realized that it was a diversion. While the squirrel had me in its clutches, the badger purloined my wallet and that damned mouse unfastened my watch and made off with it. You really have to be careful out there these days.

You may be right. There is no mention of a Gretsch anywhere. Off topic rambling. :)

Sounds like the woodland animal double distraction con. While you're focused on the wallet, a moose and a bear are breaking into your house and stealing Gretsches.
