Should I go ahead & peel it off?
You keeping it? If so, I say go for it.
This is my '06 6120-1959 .... " WHAT DO YOU THINK ??? "
Do it slowly! Make it last!
You guys are crazy.....peel it off!
Oohhh.......vintage plastic wrap......!
actually my good friend .... ( cough cough ) DrumBob peeled it off right in front of me about 2 years ago . Thought I was gunna die ......
Point taken sir!!
It definitely looks like it wants to come off.......
I had a friend in law school that had a hideous plastic wrap around his expensive, fancy cell phone (before smart phones). I asked him why he bothered with that ugly wrap.
He said to protect the finish of the phone.
I asked him why he wanted to protect the finish.
He replied that it the phone would look ugly with scratches.
I asked him whether he thought his phone looked ugly wrapped in that plastic, and whether it was worth preserving the beautiful finish of the phone if the only way to achieve that is to wrap the phone in that ugly wrap, so you never actually see the finish.
He looked at his phone and tore off the wrap.
So . . . That's my opinion.
Well said Henry. Lose the plastic wrap. My 2 cents.
I left the plastic on one of my guitars for years then one day decided to peal it off. It left terrible residue. I was able to clean it off but what a pain. It was all over the gold colored pick ups. I thought for sure that the finish would rub offf as I worked to remove the sticky gunk.
Well at least we know you REALLY take care of your stuff!!
Stop been wet lol
First world problems lol
Take it OFF!!! Get the right music though....
Glad that you decided to keep the guitar.
As for the plastic foil:
Are you eating your candybar with or without the plasticwrap?
"The Stripper" by David Rose, maybe?
