I know nothing about CVTs, but I'm intrigued. What makes you like the green one better?

Hard to say. The green one is a G.Love signature with TV Jones power'trons and locking tuners. The white guitar has Gretsch mega'trons, which are pretty damn good pickups. They're bright and brittle compared to the TVs, but in a good way. This particular g.love has a real beefy neck. I don't know - ask again tomorrow and I might prefer the white one

Wish there was a good source for those MegaTrons. They were one of my favorites for rude crunch while I had them and would love to try them in some other guitars...

Today's favorite was the 6129T Silver Jet. In fact it's been a favorite for weeks, sitting in a stand while most others were in cases. What an awesome guitar. But I just watched a video with both Tom Petty and Mike Campbell playing Firebirds, so I think I'll have to break out the 'Bird...

Finally the Duffy Falcon. Man, I love this guitar. It's more of a pain to take to gigs that any other guitar I own, yet it's been to more gigs since I got it than any guitar except the Jet and the DGT.

Ok... well, first off, I obviously must have the least expensive guitar collection of anyone on this forum.

    But here goes...

    1. Schecter TSH-1 in silverburst
    2. Fender lite ash Telecaster
    3. Gretsch 5435 Pro Jet

Of these three, the Schecter is the only one not modded at all (except volume/tone knobs... I gave it some nifty looking Rickenbacher styled knobs)

    Honorable mentions:
    • Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster
    • Squier VM Jaguar (modded)
