Anyone have any really used, beat up, skinned up or tore up gretsch guitars?
    Or even pictures of any?

I got a '44 New Yorker that's pretty relic'd. What you got in mind? 20160528_195539.jpg

    Something like this

I’ve seen a lot of solid bodies in this condition but never a hollow body.

I used to have a '54 Roundup, all original, solid as a rock, played and sounded amazing, but rough as hell, looked like it had spent all of its years working hard in roadhouses. In other words, perfect. The Roundup is the only Gretsch model that I actually prefer to be beat up. I'll take all others as pristine as possible.
