Well done David, and congrats to you defreeze!
That is a work of art!
Thanks Loudn, fond of it myself. And I don't have to play it in a padded room!
Doesn't it? Thanks Larry! She plays very well and sounds perfect! These Slick pups were an excellent recommendation.
Thank you, Sir!
Showed it to a buddy and he replied wth? He's seen most of my guitars, which are spitshined. Was amazed at the build pics and intentionally making it look 66 years old.
Is there a reason you didn't have the neck relic'd?
Nice. Good work as always David and congratulations DaFreeze, although why you bought a Dirty old guitar!
We simulated the notion a roadie busted the original neck on Vince’s beloved guitar a few years ago as I’ve not been convinced of attempts to relic fretboards.
Thanks Doc...yeah, I know
Makes perfect sense to me. Clever thinking.
6.2 # Six point two!
Over a pound and a half lighter than my other Tele, an ‘08 American Deluxe Ash. Other than a Taylor, this is my lightest guitar. The ‘84 ES-175 I snagged a couple days earlier is next lightest at 6.8. Heaviest is my Strat, also Ash, at 8.6#
I find pawlonia bodied guitars to be quite lively.
Quite lively and can’t decide whether she sounds better or plays better. Both superb. In fact I’ve played this about twice as much as the Gibson I mentioned earlier that came in 2 days before Me and Vince’s Tele.
