Velcro is the way to go
I have a small stash of stick-on rubber feet in 2 sizes, as well as spare velcro. If I need to change what's on the base of a pedal, it's no problem to me.
Btw for pedals where I don't want to spoil the rubber base and/or label (vintage Boss, Ibanez/Maxon), I use a pedal boot:
I really have no problem with it because I don`t use any pedals
If I would be on the search the velcro would not be a deal-breaker. I could always peel it off the pedal. No problem at all.
Way back I knew a girl who always carried a pair of velcro handcuffs in her handbag......
Should not be a deal breaker to anyone who has been
"around" .....and I think most of us have!
Velco is fine, but gaffa tape works better
Gaffer tape leaves residue........and you can't wash it for re-use........
I think the only pedal I ever bought second hand was before velcro was invented!
Audept, could you please PM me her address and telephone number?
Advertise them as 'pre-velcroed' and charge extra.
Not a problem for me.
Entirely depends on where the Velcro is
I use boutique Velcro for my pedals.
Of course. The stock stuff sucks tone and kills sustain.
I think she now goes by the name of Madam Lash. Private clients only by appointment and unlisted number.
Doesn't goo gone take the paint off the pedal though? I'm always nervous about that stuff.
Did you have to PAY back then?!
I looked her up on Google ...... lol , you got me again ......
No, I got in before she turned professional.
