I can't beat that we may be on a different level but mine was used at a strip joint in Vegas and a Target in Compton
    simultaneously!

I have just had to cancel and replace my credit card because it went on a $2,000 shopping spree on iTunes all by itself. The bank fraud investigation service say they should be able to refund my money in 4 - 6 weeks!:(

    Did it buy this song?

(Amazing that they could sound so good with no guitar cables.)

It appears to have mainly bought apps and gift cards. You must get a lot for $2k !

Well, now it's in Denver. Only took 3 days to travel 500 miles. It's been in transit for 10 days. The original distance it needed to travel was 700 miles. I'm betting on Monday, but sort of hoping for Tuesday to make it an even 2 weeks.

I sent the seller a message.

I've enjoyed watching this guitar wander the United States for the last 10 days. And it's still 1000 miles from Minneapolis! Ohio to Minnesota via Utah. Obviously not your fault. Looking forward to its eventual arrival. I'm betting on Monday.

I checked USPS tracking. It's still going.

Well, it speeded up. Took 3 days to arrive from Denver and then only hours to go from St Paul to Minneapolis to the main local post office near Plymouth. So maybe tomorrow? OTOH it might be sent back to Ohio just to mess with me.

Don't hold your breath. There's plenty of the world left for it to tour. :)

No one really wants to go to Minnesota, Doc.

The guitar arrived today. It went from Ripley, OH to Des Moines, IA to Salt Lake City, UT to Denver to St. Paul, MN to Minneapolis, MN to Plymouth, MN. A total of 3125 miles over 14 days. An average of 223 miles/day. For a moment let's leave the aside the issue of the unnecessary detour to Utah. I don't know about you but when I travel long distances I can go at least 8 hours at 55 miles/hour, or 440 miles/day. USPS averages half that in this case.

A straight shot from Ripley to Plymouth would be 770 miles. In other words, I'd be there in less than two days. USPS took 7x as long.

I'm sympathetic to USPS. Unlike UPS or Fedex or any other company they have to, by law, prepay their employees' retirement health insurance. That's a huge burden and completely unfair. If the other carriers were held to that standard, shipping would be a lot more expensive. (And those companies would be a lot less profitable.) Yet some employee sent a package from Ohio to Minnesota via Utah. That's a joke. I've never had that happen at the other carriers.

There'll be a NGD thread soon at (insert new link!)

The USPS is run by the government, Doc. What’d you expect? Efficiency?
